Exactly what is mindfulness? Is it different from meditation?
Mindfulness is moment to moment awareness, without judgement. Meditation is the practice of engaging that attention and can be done in a variety of ways: breath awareness, body relaxation exercises, chanting, using mantras…meditation serves to focus attention and regulate emotions.

- What’s with the skull?
Creating the logo was a fun part of growing my business. I have had an interest in skulls since I was a little girl. My grandfather was a surgeon and he had a picture of his grad class with guys holding skulls and watching over cadavers. I have always wondered why skulls are used as caution people away, but in fact we all have one! Aside from that, up until the Renaissance skulls were used in all ancient cultures as symbolic of where human meets the Divine. Skulls also represent impermanence a central theme in some meditation communities.
- Why do we breath through the nose?
